"Following a team-up with reebok club c 85 earlier this year, Germany's Asphaltgold have linked up with Reebok for an anti-cute take on a classic. The 'Death to Cute' drop puts a spin on the iconic Club C and re-makes it with a bevy of custom details throughout. Those who are into NB will immediately recognise that this salmon-hued colourway was used on the previous generation visit here. Same same, but actually quite different when it comes down to the nitty gritty. As the panelling on the v5 is a little different, the arrangement of tonal suede and mesh is broken up more by the additional hardware on the rear quarter and underlays. Where the v4’s accents went for a lighter shade of pink, this version nods back to its origins with some minimal grey hits.
